dear paris, i (really) miss you.

Nothing lifts my spirits quite like a trip to Paris and I am so excited because I just booked my next trip. I'll be traveling to Paris and Dublin this fall! I am already mentally planning places to shop, eat, absorb, and feel creative. Here are some pictures from my trip this spring that may inspire you (and me).
Gate at Versailles
Rainbow dancing in the Jardin du Palais Royal fountain
Table setup at Cafe de Flore

Interior of Notre Dame Cathedral
A runner wearing a scarf (seriously, Parisians wear scarves everywhere!)
Gorgeous fleurs in their simplicity
Are there any places or sites you recommend that I visit while I'm in Paris? I'd appreciate any tips in the comments.

  1. I miss Paris SO MUCH!! It's been 16 years since I was there. I remember vising a beautiful perfume factory just outside Paris...if only I could remember the name. I hope to visit soon. Avoir un bon voyage mon ami.

  2. I just returned from Paris last week! I loved the Tulieres Garden and the African Drumming at the Parc de Vilette.

  3. Hi Brooke! What a fun post! I'm so excited for you about your upcoming trip! I just got back from Ireland and truly fell in love with the Emerald Isle! Of course, you must shop on Grafton Street, but also be sure to visit the Penneys Store, I think it's on O'Connell Street. Can't wait to see your pictures.

  4. Enjoy Brooke! I'll have to live through you, while I sit home with bebe. Eat an extra macaron for both of us!

  5. I'm not sure if you've ever been to La Maroquinerie Parisienne, but if not you HAVE to go. It's on rue Tronchet and has all sorts of fantastic designer bags on discount. The sales ladies aren't the most friendly, but I got an enormous Longchamp convertible duffel tote for EUR 110 last time i was there. Also Gosselin Patisserie over by Musee d'Orsay has my favorite almond croissants in the city! I miss Paris!
