remixing my fur vests

Fur vests are one of my favorite trends and I'm thankful they've stuck around for as long as they have. For the past few years, I've worn my fur vests over a tee or dress, but I've become more adventurous this season by layering them over jackets.
Fur Vest, BB Dakota (thanks, mom!)
Jacket, H&M (similar here)
Tank, Bark Decor
Jeans, Banana Republic
Booties, Urban Outfitters
This three-quartered length military jacket is the perfect jacket to layer with because it's lightweight, which keeps me from looking bulky, and it's a neutral color, which nicely complements (but does not compete) with the vest.

 I've attempted to wear a fur vest over a winter coat and it hasn't worked out because I just look like a round, furry mess, so this layering is best done over thinner jackets and anoraks.
Finding new ways to wear pieces from my closet has to be one of my favorite things. How are you wearing your fur vests?
