fierce bangle

I spotted (no pun intended, okay, maybe pun intended) this leopard bangle at J.Crew and fell in love. I was lucky to receive it as a Christmas gift and it's become my little pet ever since helping to bring ferocity to my outfits.

You've likely noticed that animals have been a huge trend recently: you'll find them adorning sweaters, scarves, and pieces of jewelry. It's a whimsical trend and I have eagerly embraced it.

I rarely wear orange clothing because the color doesn't look the best on my skin tone, so wearing a bangle that has two shades of orange is a fab way for me to add a pop of color without committing in a major way.

I think this bangle could also be layered with other chunky gold bangles. Because this bangle is such a statement on its own, I try to keep my outfit simple when I wear it.

A bangle is a low-risk wear to incorporate the animal trend or to integrate colors you may otherwise shy away from. So take a walk on the wild side, if you dare!
