chapeaux for winter: part deux

Hats in the winter are essential to both my fashion sensibilities and my warmth. In part un, I showed a floppy hat and a casual cap. For part deux, I'm featuring two ends of the hat spectrum: a more formal cloche and a casual, knit beanie. I love wearing this cloche because it makes me feel fancy.

This hat reminds me of the fabulous ladies in pre-war Downton Abbey. When I wear it, I feel instantly transported to a vast English estate (geese included!). I added some aviators for a bit of edge.

In contrast to my dressier cloche, on days when I'm super casual and want to stay warm, I don my knit, brimmed beanie. I like wearing it with the brim a bit off-center.

Wearing hats is a simple way to transform your mood or style. I love having a variety of them because they can also be the perfect finishing touches on my outfits.
