california dreamin' on such a winter's day

I was recently at home in San Diego for the holidays and loved being back on the west side to see my family and friends and enjoy the beauty of the Pacific coast.

I got back into the Southern California spirit by picking up a shirt that reads, "my boyfriend surfs better than yours." I love its comfy and slouchy fit, but I especially love wearing it (tongue firmly in cheek) back in Boston. A couple other shots while I was enjoying a low tide.

I took the hour-long train ride between San Diego and Orange County to see a friend from college. It's a wonderful trip because it's right along the coast (the view alone is worth the price of the ticket). Here are some shots from the moving train--I couldn't believe how well some of the pictures turned out.
